BKin, M.CJ, RASP-A
My Story
Sarah received her Bachelor of Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from the University of the Fraser Valley and completed her Master’s degree in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Behavior Analysis at Saint Joseph’s University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, where she continues to expand her training in psychological assessment, evidence-based interventions, and clinical case conceptualization.
Throughout her career, Sarah has worked extensively within schools, daycare settings, private practice, and multidisciplinary teams, collaborating closely with families, educators, physicians, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals to create individualized and meaningful support plans for children and youth. Her work focuses on building practical, evidence-based strategies that support emotional regulation, adaptive functioning, social connection, and overall family well-being.
In addition to her clinical work, Sarah has provided parent coaching, staff training, and workshops focused on autism, behavioral support strategies, emotional regulation, and child development. She is passionate about helping caregivers and professionals better understand the “why” behind behavior while empowering children to thrive within supportive and compassionate environments.
As both a clinician and mother, Sarah understands the emotional complexities families often experience when navigating developmental, emotional, behavioral, and educational challenges. This perspective continues to shape her collaborative, compassionate, and family-centered approach to care.
