Vincenzo Sabella

Psychotherapist (Q) & Research Coordinator

My Story

Vincenzo holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree with honours in Clinical and Applied Psychology from the University of L’Aquila in Italy. He also completed two years of specialized training in sexology at the Italian Institute of Scientific Sexology in Rome. He later earned a second Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from City University of Seattle.

In his clinical work, Vincenzo draws from several evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, psychodynamic therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). He works collaboratively with clients to explore the underlying patterns that keep them feeling stuck and to develop practical ways to move toward meaningful change.

Vincenzo believes therapy should be a space where people can speak openly about difficult or sensitive topics without fear of judgment. His approach balances compassion with thoughtful challenge, helping clients better understand themselves, build resilience, and create more fulfilling relationships and lives.

Outside of his clinical work, Vincenzo enjoys chess, fitness and outdoor activities, as well as reading or watching a good film. He also creates psychoeducational psychology content online, where he shares accessible explanations of psychological concepts through his Instagram page @psy.101 .
