My Story
Marie's work is grounded in building strong therapeutic connections and fostering a warm, safe environment for children, teens, adults, and families.
Dually licensed as a Registered Psychologist in both Alberta and BC, Marie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Mount Royal University and a Master of Education degree in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary. She has completed additional training in child development, play-based therapies, and the identification of autism spectrum disorder. Her ongoing professional development includes training in literacy development, gifted education, the management of ADHD and executive functioning challenges as well as autism assessment training in the ADOS-2 and ADI-R.
Throughout her career, Marie has worked in diverse settings, including public and rural schools, not-for-profit agencies, school divisions, early intervention preschool programs, and private practice clinics.
