“At its root, perfectionism isn’t really about a deep love of being meticulous. It’s about fear. Fear of making a mistake. Fear of disappointing others. Fear of failure. Fear of success.”

My Story
Molly is a Master of Counselling student, and previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from Queen’s University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. Prior to beginning her counselling training, Molly worked as a lawyer, where she supported clients through multifaceted legal issues and life challenges. This experience strengthened Molly’s ability to simplify solutions to complex problems, as well as her understanding of the unique challenges associated with occupational stress, high-performance, perfectionism, and major life transitions.
As a counsellor, Molly is committed to creating a compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. Her approach is evidence-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed, drawing on multiple therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of each individual client. In particular, Molly looks to help adolescents and adults navigate personal challenges, recognize their strengths, build resilience, and cultivate meaningful and authentic lives.
Outside of her clinical work, Molly enjoys going for ‘awe walks’ in her neighborhood and spending time in nature hiking, biking, and skiing. She also enjoys expressing her creativity through knitting, crocheting, and other crafts, and spending quality time with loved ones – including her fluffy cat, Bijoux.
