Mental Health Assessments Mental health assessments are used for children, adolescents, or adults to provide information related to social-emotional-behavioral functioning. These assessments are used to provide individualized strategies that can be used to guide therapeutic and treatment planning. Mental health assessments do not include formal testing of cognitive or academic abilities. If you are looking to explore additional learning challenges, we recommend a psychoeducational assessment. Assessments for PDD/AISH Funding This is used to apply for government funding. A report will be provided that can be used for the application process. ***Sliding scales will be offered on a case-by-case basis. Many insurance companies provide coverage for psychological services.
