Psycho-Educational Assessments A Psycho-Educational assessment is used to identify a student’s pattern of strengths and areas of need to provide unique and individualized recommendations for educational planning and intervention. Psychoeducational testing involves understanding how the student learns, their academic achievement, and their behavioral, social, or emotional challenges. These types of assessments can be used to identify students who may have learning disabilities, or experiencing challenges related to ADHD, mood, or behavioral disorder, or to provide information related to their learning profile. ***Sliding scales will be offered on a case-by-case basis. As well, many insurance companies provide coverage for psychological services.
