Psychological "Gifted" Assessments

Service Description

The following rates below are billed out at an hourly rate of $230.00 Gifted assessment is a process of evaluating students who have demonstrated advanced intellectual and academic abilities, creativity, leadership capabilities, or exceptional talents. The results of the assessment are typically used to develop an appropriate educational plan for the student, to apply to specific programs or schools, or to access enrichment opportunities in your child’s class. 1a) Cognitive Only – this option can be used for families considering enrollment in Westmount Charter School; it includes: 1b) Cognitive and Academic Testing - this option can be used for families considering enrollment in the Calgary Board of Education’s GATE program. 1c) Academic Only - This option may be used if there is already a valid IQ test, and assessment of academic testing is required for entry into a specialized program. ***Sliding scales will be offered on a case-by-case basis. Many insurance companies provide coverage for psychological services as well.
